2007-08 (Sophomore): Participated at UC Irvine Shootout, Husky Invitational and in matches against Oregon State (Dec, 19) and Wisconsin (Jan. 12).

2006-2007 (Freshman): Finished 14th in the WAC Championship in the 200 Free (1:55.24) and sixth overall on the team...tallied a 21st finish in the WAC Championship in the 100 Free (54.36, sixth best on team)...team high in the 500 Free and placed 28th in the WAC (fourth on team, 5:18.07).

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, Calif...earned four letters in swimming, two in basketball and one in water polo...garnered All-America honors in 2005...led swimming team to four-straight league titles...also picked up one basketball and one water polo conference crown...was a Pacific Swimming Athlete Representative from 2005-06.

Personal: Born Sept. 3, 1988, in Oakland, Calif...plans to major in business...has one older brother...parents are Pat and Kent Yoshiwara of Walnut Creek, Calif.
