2006-2007 (Freshman): Finished 21st in the WAC Championship (Feb. 14) in the 50 Free (24.35)...good for sixth on the team...for the 100 Free posted a 54.57, tied for seventh best on the team and placed 26th in the WAC Championship...third event in the WAC Championship tallied a 59.07 in the 100 Back, 16th in the WAC Championship, third on team.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Centaurus High School in Lafayette, Colo...was a four sport letterwinner in swimming, track, diving and volleyball...garnered all-state kudos two times and all-conference three times in swimming...twice earned all-conference honors in both volleyball and track...volleyball team won the league title in 2005...four times earned all-academic honors...a member of the National Honor Society...also belonged to the Student Council, Student Senate and Leaders Challenge organizations.

Personal: Born Dec. 29, 1987, in Boulder, Colo...plans to major in kinesiology...parents are Robin and Ted Blomquist of Lafayette, Colo.
