LONG BEACH, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i track and field team finalized their four-day road trip with day two of the Beach Invitational at Jack Rose Track Saturday afternoon.
Both relay teams stamped their mark again, taking two more top spots in school history. The 4x100m relay team comprised of
Kristen LaCosse,
Amy Warrington,
Alyssa Mae Antolin, and
Caitlin Simmons ran a 46.68 and now own the fourth spot in the record books. They also take up the third spot, which they claimed two weeks prior.
The 4x400 team made up of Warrington, Antolin,
Madee Harding, and
Tierra Sydnor clocked a time of 3:51.69 and took the seventh spot all-time in UH history.
Freshman
Helen Hoadley vaulted over the competition and snagged second place, where she cleared the bar at 12'4".
Freshman
Stevie Wu managed a season-best, where she leaped 34'3.5" in the triple jump.
The Rainbow Wahine return in two weeks for their regular-season finale at the OSU High-Performance Meet in Corvallis, Ore. running Apr. 29-30.
