2011 (Sophomore): Named first-team AVCA All-America and first-team all-MPSF…led the nation in kills for the second consecutive year…averaged 5.57 kills per set and hit .344…started 27 matches and appeared in 99 sets…missed one match due to illness…also averaged 1.18 digs and 0.63 blocks per set while recording 18 service aces…had double figure kill total in all 27 matches played, including 14 with 20 or more kills…became the 13th player in school history to record 1,000 career kills…only the third player to reach that milestone in just his second season…named AVCA National and MPSF Player of the Week after averaging 6.29 kills per set in UH’s two-match sweep of Long Beach State in which he had 22 kills in each match…season-high 29 kills against Stanford (Jan. 23)…had a string of five straight 20-kill matches from Jan. 14-29…consecutive 28-kill matches against BYU (March 25) and Cal State Northridge (April 1)…had 26 kills and hit .388 in five-set upset of No. 1 USC (April 8)…hit .600 with 18 kills in 25 attempts against Cal Baptist (Feb. 11)…hit .575 with 25 kills and only two errors in 40 swings at UC Irvine (Feb. 22)…career-high three aces against UC Irvine (Feb. 21)...named to the MPSF all-academic team.

2010 (Freshman): Selected as the AVCA Newcomer of the Year and MPSF Freshman of the Year…named first-team All-American and all-MPSF second team…started all 29 matches at opposite…led the league in kills per set (5.29) and points per set (5.97)…set the school’s rally-scoring record with 37 kills in the first of two five-set wins over UC Irvine (Jan. 29)…also had 36 kills in UH’s MPSF quarterfinal win over Pepperdine (April 24)…had double figures kills in all 29 matches, including 13 20-plus kill matches…finished the season with seven 20-kill matches in team’s last nine contests…ranked second in school’s rally-scoring history in kills (577) and kill attempts (1,278)…selected as MPSF co-Player of the Week three times…averaged 7.17 kills per set during two-match series against UC Santa Barbara…ranked third on the team with 25 service aces, including career-high three against UCLA (Feb. 5)…also averaged 1.46 digs and 0.77 blocks per set...named to the MPSF all-tournament team.
