Biography

2011 (Senior): Started 20 matches…appeared in 21 matches and 75 sets…averaged 1.36 kills and 0.68 blocks per set…led the team with a .432 hitting percentage…also had 11 service aces and 35 digs…season-high 10 kills and hit .562 with four blocks against Stanford (Jan. 23)…had eight kills and hit .538 against UC Irvine (Feb. 21)…season-high five blocks at UC San Diego (Jan. 28) and vs. UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 4)…had two aces each against Cal Baptist (Feb. 11), at UCLA (Feb. 19), and at BYU (March 25).

2010 (Junior): Started nine matches at middle blocker…appeared in 95 sets in all 29 matches…averaged 0.68 kills and 0.45 blocks per set…hit .392…season-high nine kills against UCLA (Feb. 5)…tallied career-high seven blocks in win over Long Beach State (March 20)…had five blocks in seven swings against UC San Diego (April 2).
 
2009 (Sophomore): Competed in 45 sets and started eight of 19 matches…averaged 2.96 kills per set which ranked third on the team…also averaged 1.11 digs and 0.67 blocks per set…career high 19 kills at UC San Diego (Mar. 14)…compiled 14 kills, 10 digs, and six blocks against Cal State Northridge (Jan. 31)…had 18 kills, nine digs, two aces, and five blocks in first match against CSUN (Jan. 30)…recorded double-digit kills in seven matches…finished with four aces.

2008 (Freshman): Played in 38 games in 17 matches...tallied 39 kills (2.13 kpg) and hit .174...career-high 18 kills against Cal State Northridge (Mar. 25)...also topped double figure kills totals at USC (Mar. 22) and at Cal State Northridge (Mar. 26)...career-high six digs and six blocks at Cal State Northridge (Mar. 25)...also had six digs against Loyola (Mar. 5) and six blocks at UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 1).

2007: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, Calif...lettered in volleyball for three years...named to the all-tournament team at the Francis Parker Tournament and Tournament of Champions...selected first-team all-Channel League.

Personal: Born in Santa Barbara, Calif...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences...has one younger brother, Jordon...parents are Drew and Shawn Dyer of Santa Barbara, Calif.
