Biography

2020:
  • Signed a non-drafted free agent contract with the San Diego Padres.
  • Recorded first career save at #2 Vanderbilt.
  • Tied a career-high three strike outs at Vanderbilt (2/29).
  • Threw back-to-back days against Vanderbilt and Oregon.
  • Did not allow a run in six of seven appearances.
  • Only loss and runs allowed came on walk-off three-run home run in 11th inning at #2 Vanderbilt.
  • Earned UH Scholar-Athlete Award.
2019:
  • Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen.
  • Went 0-1 with a 3.18 ERA in 11.1 innings.
  • Recorded five strikeouts and held opposing hitters to a .175 batting average.
  • Struck out the side in a scoreless inning against Longwood in season debut (March 2).

  • Attended Yale Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia, graduating in 2016 as a four-year Honour Roll student.
  • With no school-sponsored team, played three seasons of baseball for the Abbotsford Cardinals, aiding the squad to the 2016 British Columbia Premier Baseball League (BCPBL) Championship.
  • Batted a league fifth-best .339 as a senior to pace the team’s hitters.
  • Recorded 21 RBI, 12 doubles and four home runs.
  • Registered a .438 on-base percentage in 2016, recording 21 walks and 10 stolen bases.
  • Also pitched one game for a win with eight strikeouts in five innings, allowing only one walk and three hits for a 1.40 ERA.
  • Received All-Canada/PuertoRico Region Honorable Mention by Perfect Game.
  • Two-time All-BCPBL second-team honoree (2015-16).
  • Hit .277 as a junior with seven doubles, 20 RBI and 15 runs.
