Biography

2021 (Junior):
  • Named the final Big West Field Player of the Week (4/5-11).
  • Hit for the cycle at UC Riverside (4/10) to become first Rainbow Warrior since 1996 to accomplish the feat. Sixth UH player in school history to hit for the cycle.
  • Named a semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace Award, an award for the nation's top shortstop.
  • Led the team with 21 multi-hit games, and four-hit games (3). 
  • Season-long nine-game hitting streak.
  • Fourth on the team with five multi-RBI games.
  • Tied for the most hits on the team (65), fifth on the team in RBI (22), second on the team in doubles (13), fourth on the team in home runs (2) and second on the team in runs (39).
  • Led the team in stolen bases and third in the conference (15).
  • Fourth on the team in average (.314) and slugging percentage (.435) among players who played at least 30 games.
  • Led the team in at bats (207).
2020 (COVID SEASON):
  • Named the final Big West Player of the Week (3/2-8).
  • Finished the season on a six-game hitting streak.
  • Led the team in every offensive category except for walks and home runs.

  • One of four Big West players with a batting average over .400.
  • Started all 17 games at shortstop.

  • Had two three-hit games with his last coming against North Dakota State (2/16).

  • Played two seasons in south Phoenix for South Mountain CC.
  • 2019 second-team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) selection.
  • Won the ACCAC title in 2018.
  • Finished with 31 multi-hit games, 14 multi-RBI games and eight 3-hit games.
  • Hit .318 as a sophomore with 40 RBIs, 48 runs scored, eight doubles, four triples and five home runs.
  • Tallied 40-career stolen bases with 25 as a sophomore in 2019.
  • Turned 11 double plays as a sophomore in 2019.
  • Led the conference in sacrifice flies (7) as a sophomore.
  • Scored 34 runs, hit nine doubles and three home runs as a freshman in 2018.
