Biography

2009 (Sophomore): Made 18 appearances, all in relief…finished with a record of 2-2 with four saves, a 8.33 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 27.0 innings pitched…picked up the victory vs. Mississippi State (Mar. 8), allowing one run in 4.2 innings with five strikeouts…got the win in just two pitches against Loyola Marymount (Mar. 12), inducing a double play…he then picked up his first save vs. Loyola Marymount (Mar. 13) in just three pitches, recording a three-pitch strikeout with a caught stealing during the at bat…got another save vs. Oregon (Mar. 21), pitching 2.0 scoreless innings…picked up his third save vs. Coastal Carolina (Mar. 28), striking out three with one run in 2.1 innings…pitched 2.0 no-hit innings vs. Santa Clara (Apr. 7)…got save number four at Nevada (Apr. 10), allowing one run in 1.2 innings…pitched 2.0 scoreless innings vs. Sacramento State (Apr. 19)…recorded four strikeouts while allowing a run in 3.2 innings vs. Louisiana Tech (May 3).
