Biography

2000: Started in centerfield...saw action in 46 games, starting 45...hit .213, with four doubles and six RBI...had five multi-hit games...best game was a 3-for-4, two-RBI performance at Portland State (Apr. 21) to lead Hawai`i...also went 3-for-4 in 8-7 win over Hawai`i-Hilo (Apr. 6)...had a .250 slugging percentage and a .248 on base average...batted .500 (8-for-16) in five contests against WAC rival Loyola Marymount...posted a .936 fielding percentage with three errors in 47 total chances...second among Wahine outfielders in assists with three.

1999: Wahine starting center fielder showed steady improvement, batting .277, with 14 runs and 12 RBI in 56 games...had a .322 on-base average and .315 slugging percentage...finished the regular season with the fourth best average on the club (.287)...a National Fastpitch Coaches' Association All-American Scholar-Athlete...WAC Scholar-Athlete...had eight multi-hit games...posted three, multi-RBI games...went 3-for-3, with two runs in loss to No. 6 South Florida at Arizona Wildcat Classic (Feb. 26)...went 2-for-4, with two runs in 11-0 rout of South Florida (Feb. 28)...Wahine's hottest hitter at the Wildcat Classic. going 8-for-15 (.533), with four runs in five games...hit .244 (13-for-51), with six runs and two RBI in WAC games...hit .241 (7-for-29) in post-season...hit 3-for-4, with an RBI in WAC Tournament win over New Mexico on May 13...batted .267 (4-for-15) in WAC Tourney...hit .214 (3-for-14), with a run, an RBI and a double at NCAA Regional.

1998: Started in center in 12 of Hawai`i's final 13 games after beginning the year as a reserve...hit .262 (17-for-65) with 10 RBI in 45 games...was 4-for-4 in steal attempts...had best game on March 24 vs. Santa Clara, going 3-for-3 with four RBI...went 1-for-3 with an RBI against Niagara in the NCAA Regional.

Prep: A 1997 graduate of Mililani High School on O`ahu...Honolulu Advertiser '96-'97 Female Prep Athlete-of-the-year...all-O`ahu Interscholastic Association West all-star team in softball (3 years), basketball (twice), and volleyball (once)...all-state first team twice in softball...led Mililani to OIA title in '97...won national prep championship with Mililani Bobby Sox team in '96...earned four letters in softball, three in volleyball, and two in basketballl...led all-OIA West basketball in scoring in '96...graduated magna cum laude.
