Biography

2000: Posted a 6-10 record, with 4.81 ERA and 62 strikeouts in 91.2 innings of work...worked the nine-inning distance in win over No. 15 Long Beach State on Feb. 12...also earned the win at No. 18 Oregon (Apr. 19(, working 2.2 innings of relief...set a career-high for strikeouts in a game (12) against Tulsa (Apr. 27), going 6.1 innings in the losing the effort...had an outstanding performance against No. 2 Arizona at the Fullerton Kia Classic...went the eight-inning distance, losing 1-0 despite allowing no earned runs on six hits...picked-up a win against Loyola Marymount (Mar. 28), going the distance while stiking-out seven in the Hawai`i 5-3 victory...pitched all seven innings for the Wahine as they defeated Hawai`i Pacific (Feb. 24), in a rare-at-bat...had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, with no errors in 25 total chances...posted .429 slugging percentage and a .267 on base average.

1999: Went 8-7, with a 2.94 ERA in 22 appearances...carried Wahine pitching load in post-season, earning all-tournament honors at both the NCAA Regional and WAC Championship Tournament...2-1, with a 2.21 ERA and eight ks in 19 innings to lead the Wahine to the Regional championship games...at WAC Tourney, went 1-1, with a 0.70 ERA, two complete games and 9 ks in 20 IP...beat No. 20 New Mexico, May 13, on a six-hitter only WAC tourney loss was 13-inning loss to Utah (0 ER)...won at Tulsa, 2-0 (4 H, 10 K)...beat Bowling Green on Feb. 21 (CG, 5 H, 5 K)...3-2, with a 2.79 ERA, 17 Ks and eight walks in seven WAC appearances.

1998: Went 9-0 out of the gates before a stress fracture in her lower leg...finished 10-4, four shutouts, 12 complete games, 1.62 ERA...named WAC Pitcher-of-the-Week (March 2) going 2-0 against Pacific and Utah State, beat Tulsa on March 10 (CG, 11K)...defeated UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 13 (4 H, 8 K)...K'd nine in win over New Mexico (April 10)...first outing was shutout over Chaminade on Feb. 8 (5 IP, CG)...second on the team with 79 Ks...limited the opposition to a .241 batting average...third in WAC K's per game (5.22).

Prep: A 1997 graduate of the Linfield School in Temecula, Calif...high school All-American ('95, '97)...named CIF Player-of-the-Year in 1995 and '97...All-CIF, All-Christian League, All-county (1994-'97)...won CIF titles in '94, '95, and '97...won league titles (1995-'97)...lettered four years in softball.
