2011 (Senior):
The senior transfer from Utah appeared in 43 games and was a true utility player with 39 starts at four different positions, including: second base (13), right field (13), designated player (12), and left field (1)…hit .219 (23-for-105) for the season with 18 runs scored, two doubles, two triples and a home run…drove in 11 runs and was 2-of-3 in stolen bases…hit her one home run in UH’s WAC home opener against Utah State (Mar. 26)….had four multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games with a season-high five game hitting streak (from April 29-May 7)…named to the Oceanic Time Warner Cable Paradise Classic all-tournament team.
Prior to UH: Played one year at Salt Lake Community College and two years at University of Utah… at SLCC was named to the NFCAN, JCAA second team All-West Region team, Scenic West Athletic Conference All-Region 18 and all-tournament team, and the Easton Junior College All-American team... helped the Bruins win the SWAC title... posted a conference and team-high .432 batting average with 46 runs batted in ... scored a conference and team-high 64 runs ... led the conference with 17 doubles ... had a .633 slugging percentage... hit three home runs and four triples... had a .936 fielding percentage ... drew a team-high 26 walks and had a team-high 107 total bases… at Utah was named to the academic all-conference team in 2008 and 2009…completed eight double plays with a .949 fielding average…had a .234 batting average with four homeruns.
Prep: A 2007 graduate of Layton High School in Layton, Utah… earned three letters in volleyball and four in softball… helped team to back-to-back region championships… was named Outstanding Athlete of the Year in 2007, was two time all-state, all region, and all-county, and three time all area… batted .381 with 32 hits, 24 RBI with 31 runs scored her senior year.
