    His most memorable experience at UH was “as a senior senator arguing for the serving of beer in the snack bar & picketing in favor of the retention of Coach Ah Choo Goo.” 
    The best advice he received in life came from his dad who said, “In order to succeed in life one must be academically prepared, be healthy & develop skills to protect yourself & have a good heart.”
