2001: Served as back-up punter.

2000: Redshirted.

Prior to UH: Earned two letters at Santa Monica College in California...a second team Gridwire and California All-American pick...also a first team all-state and all-league selection...had second-highest punting average in the country in 1999...named team MVP and led team to the South Bay Classic Bowl Championship...coached by Robert Taylor.

Prep: A 1998 graduate of Gig Harbor High School in Washington...earned three letters in football...named second team all-league as a running back and honorable mention all-league as a punter coached by Mike McKinney.

Personal: Born in Alesund, Norway...is married (Jennifer)...has an older brother...also recruited by Indiana, Pittsburgh, Fresno Stat and Montana...parents are Vivi and Bob Kleidon of Seattle, Wash.
