Biography

2009-10 (Senior): Was one of four UH players to be named all-WAC academic for the second year in a row…played in all 30 games and started 27…recorded her fourth career double-double against Cal State Bakersfield (Nov. 21), scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds…scored a season-high 17 points and had a career-high four 3-pointers made, adding three rebounds and three assists against Boise State (Feb. 24)… had 11 double-figure scoring games and averaged 4.6 rebounds a game…played career-high 40 minutes for the second time against East Tennessee State (Nov. 29).


2008-09 (Junior): Was one of four UH players to be named academic all-WAC…recorded her second career double-double against Toledo, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds...scored a season-high 18 points against Utah Valley on Dec. 2...recorded three double-doubles on the season, including a 12 point, 12 rebound game against No. 19 Purdue on Nov. 29...had four double-digit rebounding games and 13 double-figure scoring games...was the only Rainbow Wahine to start and play in every game this season.

2007-08 (Sophomore): Recorded her first career double-double against Tennessee Tech...scored a career-high 19 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds against Tennessee Tech (Dec. 15)...against Washington she had a then career-high 17 points and eight rebounds in season-opening win (Nov. 16)...nine points, seven rebounds and three assists against Northern Arizona (Nov. 18)...scored 14 points on 7 of 8 shooting from the field in a win against Lipscomb (Nov. 23)...recorded back-to-back four assist games against Lipscomb and Hartford...had a 12 point, eight rebound game at San Jose State on January 19...averaged 6.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in her second year.

2006-07 (Freshman): Played in 26 games...averaged 1.3 ppg and 1.7 rpg in 8.7 minutes per game...scored in 13 of 26 games that she appeared in...two points and five rebounds in collegiate debut vs. Georgetown (Nov. 17)...four points and six rebounds vs. Gonzaga (Nov. 26)...season-high five points vs. Louisiana Tech (Jan. 6).

Prep: A 2006 graduate of Ft. Worth Christian Academy in Ft. Worth, Texas...letterered in both basketball and track...helped lead team to a 32-7 mark and the 2006 5A state basketball championship...averaged 10.2 ppg and 9.0 rpg...named to the all-district first team and district newcomer of the year... also earned all-state honors...in track, participated in the 200- and 400-meters, as well as the high jump...attended her junior year at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colo...while at Regis Jesuit, averaged 14.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg and led the school to the Class 4A state semifinals and an eventual third-place finish...earned all-league mention as her squad finished 20-5 overall...a member of the Latvian junior national team the last four years...helped her country to a third-place finish at the Under-18 European Championships in the summer of 2005...played club basketball in the United States for the Mile Hi Magic and Team Texas.
