Biography

2011-12 (Senior): One of two UH players to start all 30 games…averaged a career-highs with 10.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 30.8 minutes per game…tallied a career-season highs in total points (301); rebounds (189); defensive rebounds (142); assists (65); blocks (45); and free throws made (99) and attempted (157)…raised her free-throw percentage by almost .200 from the previous season with a .631 free-throw percentage…led UH in blocks for the fourth straight season and her 145 swatted shots this season ranks No. 10 in the ‘Bows’ single-season record book….finished career ranked No. 3 in the UH career record book with 146 career blocked shots and No. 6 with 2,949 minutes played…voted to the Pepsi Rainbow Wahine Invitational All-Touranment Team…became just the sixth UH women’s player to earn all-WAC defensive honors and first player since Tanya Smith was selected to the all-defensive team in 2007-08.

2010-11 (Junior): Started in 24 games with 29 appearances overall…averaged 28.4 minutes, 7.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and a team-high 1.3 blocks per game…moved into sixth place all-time for UH with 101 career blocked shots…had a team-high 147 free-throw attempts...logged a career-high 43 minutes in an overtime game against Louisiana Tech (Jan. 8) while snaring a career-high six offensive rebounds at Boise State (Jan. 15)…grabbed a season-high 13 boards against San Jose State (Feb. 24)…posted three double-doubles against Eastern Michigan (Nov. 20), at Portland (Dec. 4), and against New Mexico State in the WAC Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev. (Mar. 9)…tallied double-digits in points nine times and in rebounds seven times…tied her career-high dishing out five assists against Fresno State (Feb. 27); scored a season-high 16 points twice at home against Eastern Michigan (Nov. 20) and Fresno State…tied her career-high with seven field goals made against Fresno State...was voted the Most Valuable Player in the 2010 Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic after scoring 43 points with 18 rebounds and five blocked shots in three games.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Started in all 30 games… scored a career-high 18 points against Idaho on Jan. 13 with six rebounds, two assists and three blocks… had 16 rebounds, 11 points, four assists, and a block against Boise State on Feb. 24… led the team with 186 rebounds and 41 blocks, and had 30 steals, and 262 points.

2008-09 (Freshman): Played in 29 games as a true freshman, starting one… scored five points in her first collegiate game against Loyola Marymount in 15 minutes of action…scored six points against No. 5 Stanford on Nov. 30…played a career-high 28 minutes against Colorado on Jan. 4 and scored a then career-high 12 points...started the first game of her career against Fresno State on Jan. 8....scored 10 points against Louisiana Tech on Feb. 22...also tied a career-high with five rebounds against Louisiana Tech on Feb. 22...scored a career-high 14 points against Idaho on Feb. 27...went 6-for-6 from the free throw line against Idaho on Feb. 27.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of Chandler High School in Chandler, Ariz.…lettered in basketball for four years…helped Chandler win three conference championships…earned Most Valuable Player as a freshman and Rookie of the Year as a sophomore…made first team All Region as a junior and earned MVP again her senior year...was a candidate for McDonald’s All-American Team…averaged 14.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game her senior season…also a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born in Mesa, Ariz.…majoring in sociology…has one brother…mother is Brenda Arbuckle of Mesa, Ariz.
