2017 (Senior): Appeared in 24 games, starting 16 in left field and one at designated hitter…batted .210 with one home run and 11 RBI, recording four doubles and six runs…went 5-for-10 (.500) with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in three games against Sacred Heart from March 9-12…drove in two runs in a win vs. NC State on Feb. 18…finished 2-for-4 with an RBI versus Indiana (March 16)…produced his first career home run in his final collegiate game with a leadoff bomb against UC Santa Barbara on May 27…finished the UCSB game 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI, leading the way offensively in the season-ending conference win.
2016 (Junior): Appeared in 45 games, starting 44, primarily in left field…was fourth on the team in batting average hitting .273 and second in triples with four…tied for the fourth most runs scored on the team with 23…drove in a team fifth-best 17 runs and tied for the fifth most doubles with seven…went 3-for-4 in stolen bases which tied for third on the team…set a career high with four hits in a game versus Chicago State (3/20) going 4-for-5 with three RBI…drove in a career best four runs at UC Davis (April 10) going 2-for-5 with a double…went 7-for-15 with five runs scored in the series versus Chicago State…finished the season going 5-for-8 with two doubles in the series versus Arizona.
2015 (Sophomore): Played in 33 games for the 'Bows, starting 32 contests after an injury sidelined him for a month…batted .223 with four doubles, reaching base via walk 12 times and once as a hit batter, with a .303 on-base percentage…scored 14 runs with eight RBI on the year…logged an .897 fielding percentage with 24 putouts and two assists…started the first three games of the Oregon series (Feb 13-15) as designated hitter…returned to action on March 19 against New Mexico State, hitting .308 (4-for-13) with two (2) walks and a run scored…two games later, had his biggest-hitting game of the year, going 3-for-4 at UC Irvine (March 27)…went 2-for-3 to open the series at Cal Poly (March 10), and finished a strong weekend batting .455 (5-for-11) against the Mustangs, with a run, an RBI and two (2) doubles…at Long Beach State (May 3), he hit 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI in the series finale…also hit 2-for-3 with a run in the UC Riverside finale (May 9)…earned three walks in a game twice, at UC Irvine (March 29) and again versus Cal State Northridge (April 18).
2014 (Freshman): Played 18 games with 13 starts before suffering a mid-season injury, which sidelined him for the rest of the season...batted .345 with nine runs, 10 RBI, and one triple...opened the season on a six-game hitting streak...had two hits and two RBI versus Oregon (Feb. 15), then added a hit, two runs, and one RBI a night later against the Ducks...batted 3-for-4 with three runs and a triple against Albany (Feb. 21)...went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI at No. 10 UC Santa Barbara (March 28), then had two hits, one run and two RBI against the Gauchos two days later.
Prep: A 2013 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, O’ahu…lettered four years in baseball under Coach Dunn Muramaru…Aided MPI to Interscholastic League of Honolulu (IHL) title twice during his time there and a Hawai'i High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) State Championship in his senior season…earned first team All-ILH and second team All-State as a sophomore and junior…was a first-team All-IHL and All-State selection as a senior, named to the HHSAA Division I All-Tournament Team and Honolulu Star-Advertiser State Player of the Year…selected by the Chicago Cubs in 25th round of the 2013 MLB Draft.
