Biography

2012 Sand (Sophomore): Tallied an 8-2 overall record…was 2-2 in tournament play and won both dual matches she appeared in…also went 4-0 in exhibition matches…paired with Kayla Kawamura for a straight set win over Loyola Marymount’s Ellie Selleck and Diana Hiramoto at the No. 5 flight during the US Volleyball Beach Collegiate Challenge (April 14)…teamed with Kaela Goodman for a win over Jasmine Rankins and Ellie Selleck at the No. 4 flight in a dual match vs. Loyola Marymount (April 16).

2011 Indoor (Sophomore): Saw action in nine matches as a defensive specialist...posted one dig on the season...saw action in UH's NCAA Tournament opening win versus Northern Colorado (12/1)...posted five assists on the season, three versus Louisiana Tech (11/10).

2010 Indoor(Freshman): Did not see action due to injury.

2009 Indoor: Redshirted.

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…lettered three years in volleyball…played on two Hawai‘i state championship runner-up teams in 2006 and ’08…earned an athletic award of honor…also played club volleyball for seven years, including two for TAVA, coached by former Rainbow Wahine All-American Tita Ahuna…a scholar-athlete and an honor-roll awardee.

Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu…has one younger brother…parents are Jean and Ron Kam of Honolulu, O‘ahu.
