HONOLULU - The Hawai'i women's track and field team heads to the Bay Area for a weekend of split squad events, competing at the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Classic Friday and Saturday.

The action at the Stanford Invitational gets underway at 7 a.m. HT Friday and 10 a.m. HT Saturday, while the Mike Fanelli Classic hosted by San Francisco State starts at 5:30 a.m. HT Friday and Saturday.

UH is coming off of a strong showing at the UCR Spring Classic where the 'Bows broke a program record and posted a slew of program top 10s.

Robyn Larkan broke the program record for 100m hurdles with a time of 13.85 to secure the event win.
Tara Wyllie also turned in an event win in triple jump with a mark of 12.75m (41-8.5), and finished runner up to Larkan in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.29.
Ava Enriquez and
Lindsey Koch shared an event win in pole vault, each clearing 3.65m (11-11.75).

Lilian Turban also earned event wins in both the high jump and javelin. Turban finished the high jump event as the only competitor to clear each of the three heights, clearing a 1.79m (5-10.5), while also posting a personal best in javelin with a mark of 48.12m (157-10).

Turban heads into the weekend as the conference leader in the high jump while sitting in third in the javelin. Wyllie brings the Big West's No. 2 mark in the triple jump into the weekend while
Samaria Vital is third in the conference in the discus (50.97m, 167-3).

Following this week's action, UH will compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific University, Apr. 16-18.Â
