The Rainbow Wahine look to continue their strong finishes, last year the 'Bows finished the meet with a 70.5 points led by four medalists. This marked the fourth consecutive year that UH has placed in the top 5 of the conference, after not placing in the top 10 for each of the previous eight seasons.
Two Rainbow Wahine are returning to defend their titles this weekend, three time defending high jump champion,
Lilian Turban, and two time defending triple jump champion
Tara Wyllie. UH currently holds six MPSF top three marks in the 200m, 60m Hurdles, High Jump, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, and Shot Put.
Isabella Kneeshaw has broken her own program indoor 400m record all three times she has run the event and sits in fourth in the MPSF (54.48), while also holding the third-fastest 200m time in the conference (24.10).
Robyn Larkan leads the MPSF in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.38 while Turban is first in the conference in the high jump with a mark of 1.82m (5-11.5) while also sitting third in the league in the shot put (14.51m, 47-7.25). Freshman
Ava Enriquez is second in the league in the pole vault at 3.88m (12-8.75) and
Tara Wyllie owns the second-best MPSF triple jump mark at 12.40m (40-8.25).
Following this weekend's MPSF Championships, the 'Bows will shift focus to the start of the outdoor track season beginning on March 13 in San Diego at the Aztec Coastal Track Classic.
