HONOLULU – The Hawai'i women's track and field team will look to build off its stellar start to indoor season when it heads back to Seattle for the UW Invite Friday and Saturday.
The action begins at 8 a.m. HT Friday and 9 a.m. HT on Saturday. The bulk of both the track and field events will be contested on Friday while Saturday will consist of only mile events on the track and select field events.

The Rainbow Wahine opened the season with numerous program top-10 marks, led by a pair of school records on Saturday at the UW Preview.
Isabella Kneeshaw lowered her school record in the indoor 400m to 55.60, and
Catherine Touchette broke the program 600m record with a time of 1:29.86.

Ava Enriquez, and transfer
Izzy Gorton all posted new program top 10 marks. The distance crew also turned in a strong weekend, with
Mikaella Martin posting a top-five program time in the 3000m with a mark of 9:46.74, and
Lucy Becker turning in a top 10 in the mile and a PR with a time of 5:03.87.
The UH throwers for the team started the season with a pair of top 10 meet finishes in the weight throw.
Samaria Vital placed sixth with a mark of 15.76m and
Valo Sopoaga finished eighth with a mark of 15.26m.
Following this weekend's action at the UW Invite, the 'Bows will jump back into action at the Husky Classic on Feb. 13-14 in Seattle, and the Battle Born Classic also on Feb. 13-14 in Reno, Nev.
