Weekend Wrap: Bryan Clay Invitational

AZUSA, Calif. – The Hawai'i women's track & field team turned in another solid weekend of work at the Bryan Clay Invitational, setting a school record and posting more Big West leading and program top 10 marks.

The Rainbow Wahine added a total of 11 new marks to the school outdoor top 10 lists highlighted by Kristin Cook, Amy Warrington, Alyssa Mae Antolin and Isabella Kneeshaw's school record in the 4x100m relay. The UH relay squad ran a time of 45.22 seconds to lead the Big West and break their own record that they set the last time out at the Stanford Invitational.

Hallee Mohr widened her Big West lead in the discus, delivering a toss of 55.53m (182-2) to move into second all-time at UH. Mohr earned Big West Field Athlete of the Week honors for her effort and remains as the only athlete in the conference to throw over 50m in the discus this year.

The Hawai'i multis crew turned in a stellar showing in their first heptathlon event of the year, with three of the four athletes posting new program top 10 point totals. Sammie Gordon moved into second all-time at UH and now leads the Big West with 5,295 points while Anna Marx sits in eighth in school history with 4,748 points and Catherine Touchette took over the No. 9 spot with 4,742 points.

UH's multis squad of Gordon, Marx, Touchette and Grace Blanchette rank third nationally in the USTFCCCA's Event Squad Rankings according to the track & field ratings index. The 'Bows are one of three squads nationally with four athletes who have scored over 4,500 points in the heptathlon this year.
