AZUSA, Calif. – A trio of heptathletes put up new program top 10 marks in the event while Hallee Mohr continued to pace the Big West in the discus to highlight day two of action for the Hawai'i track and field team at the Bryan Clay Invitational Friday.
 
Sammie Gordon, Anna Marx and Catherine Touchette all delivered new program top 10 marks in the heptathlon. Gordon moved up from fifth to second all-time in school history with 5,295 points to become just the fifth in school history to eclipse the 5,000-point mark in the event. Gordon matched the UH heptathlon record in the long jump while also moving into 10th overall in school history with a jump of 5.81m (19-0.75).
 
Marx moved into the UH heptathlon top 10 in the eighth spot with a point total of 4,748 points. A day after posting three PRs, Marx added two more in the long jump (5.45m) and 800m (2:23.68) to place seventh in her section. Touchette turned in the No. 9 heptathlon performance in program history, finishing with 4,742 points. She lowered her own heptathlon 800m school record by over four seconds with a time of 2:13.42.
 
Mohr delivered the first win of the meet for the Rainbow Wahine with a personal best 55.53m (182-2) in the discus. Mohr's performance moved her into second all-time at UH and widened her lead in the Big West this season, now pacing the conference by over six meters as the only athlete to throw over 50.00m in the event.
 
Tania Tan provided the highlight for the Rainbow Wahine distance crew, moving into the program top 10 in the 10000m with a time of 36:48.49.
