HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball program's "Hoopla" fundraiser returns for the first time since 2019 to benefit the back-to-back Big West champion Rainbow Wahine.
 
The event is set for Sept. 26 at the Ed Wong Room at the Stan Sheriff Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., with an interactive evening with the Rainbow Wahine players and staff to follow.
 
The program includes the introduction of the 2023-24 Rainbow Wahine roster, a tour of the team locker room, a breakdown of key moments in last season's run to a second straight Big West Championship, and photo opportunities with the championship trophies and memorabilia. A surprise special guest will also be in attendance.
