HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball program's "Hoopla" fundraiser returns ahead of Khalilah Mitchell's first season as head coach. The event set for Oct. 5 in the Ed Wong Room at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center and starts at 6 p.m.
 
The evening will include dinner and drinks as well as an opportunity to interact with the Rainbow Wahine Basketball 'Ohana, including the new coaching staff and the 2026-27 roster.

The Rainbow Wahine return eight letterwinners from a team that went 22-11 last season, reaching the 20-win mark for the third straight year and the fourth time in the last five years. The 'Bows open Mitchell's inaugural season as head coach on Nov. 2 at Oregon and begin the home schedule Nov. 15 in the Bank of Hawai'i Classic.
