HONOLULU — University of Hawai'i women's basketball head coach Khalilah Mitchell announced a 30-game regular-season schedule in her first year leading the Rainbow Wahine program.
 
UH's 2026-27 schedule features 15 home dates at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, and includes matchups with 10 opponents that participated in postseason tournaments last season. This season also marks UH's inaugural campaign in the Mountain West.
 
Two nonconference opponents, Oregon and Gonzaga, reached the 2026 NCAA Tournament, and five competed in the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (California, Loyola Marymount, Stanford, San Diego State, and Columbia). Another two played in the Women's National Invitation Tournament (San Francisco and Pepperdine). UC Davis, which joins UH in moving from the Big West to the Mountain West, also played in the WNIT.
 
The 'Bows will make their first appearance of the season in an exhibition game against Hawai'i Pacific on Oct. 21. They'll officially open Mitchell's head coaching tenure on Nov. 2 at Oregon and play at San Francisco on Nov. 5.
 
The home schedule opens with the annual Bank of Hawai'i Classic set for Nov. 13 and 15. UH faces Saint Mary's in the home opener and closes the weekend against LMU.
 
UH will then compete in the North Shore Showcase at the Cannon Activities Center in Lā'ie, O'ahu, and faces Gonzaga on Nov. 20 and Cal on Nov. 21.
 
The 'Bows return to Mānoa for the American Savings Bank Rainbow Wahine Showdown on Thanksgiving weekend. All three visiting teams played in the WBIT last season and UH will face San Diego State on Nov. 27, Columbia on Nov. 28 and Stanford on Nov. 29. Columbia won the WBIT title in March, while San Diego State and Stanford advanced to the quarterfinals.
 
After a break in early December, UH will take on Chaminade on Dec. 13 and concludes the nonconference schedule with road games at Pepperdine (Dec. 20) and Fresno State (Dec. 22).
 
UH is scheduled to make its Mountain West debut at home against Nevada on Dec. 30. The 'Bows then have a three-game road trip to UC Davis (Jan. 2), Wyoming (Jan. 6) and Air Force (Jan. 9). The 18-game conference schedule concludes with a three-game homestand against Wyoming, UTEP, and UNLV. Dates for the Mountain West schedule are subject to change.
 
The women's bracket of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Basketball Championships presented by the Palms Casino Resort is set for March 7-10 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
 
UH is coming off a 22-11 campaign in Laura Beeman's final season as head coach. The 'Bows won 16 of their last 18 games and reached the Big West Championship final. Mitchell was selected to lead the program in April after seven seasons as an assistant coach.
