2012 (Freshman): Made 11 appearances out of the bullpen with two starts...pitched 32.1 total innings...finished 2-3 with three saves and a 3.06 ERA...went five straight appearances late in the season where he didn't allow an earned run...allowed just one run on one hit in 2.2 innings in his first collegiate appearance (Oregon, Feb. 19)...pitched three scoreless innings against Wagner (Feb. 25)...struck out a team season-high 12 batters in 6.2 innings of work against Central Michigan (Mar. 10)...earned his first collegiate win against San Francisco (Mar. 17), tossing 3.1 innings allowing no runs on just one hit...worked two scoreless innings against Nevada (May 18).

Prep: A 2011 graduate of Francis Parker High School in San Diego, Calif...earned four letters in baseball...team took league championship titles from 2009-11...named to all-league team all four years and all-division teams from 2009-11...a four-year member of San Diego Hustle. 

Personal: Born in Escondido, Calif...parents are Debi and Earl Dowdy of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif...has one older brother...intends to major in kinesiology.
