Prep: Is a 2001 graduate of Iolani School where she played under Chris Shimabukuro...earned three letters in softball and two in basketball...was an ILH and all-state all-star in softball while garnering second team all-ILH in basketball...led her team to the 1999, 2000, and 2001 ILH Championship while going on to also claim the state title in both 1999 and 2000...an AP Scholar and a member on the Honor Roll...belonged to the Okinawan Club.

Personal: Born March 18, 1983, in Honolulu...favorites include math, corned beef hash, and the movie Anastasia...her most influential person in her life is her mother...most proudest moment in athletics was winning the state title...has two older sisters...parents are Elsie and Herb Yoshimura of Kaneohe, Oahu.
