2006 Played in 37 games, starting 11 mostly in the outfield...hit .308 for the year, going 12-for-39...in the UNLV Desert Classic hit at a .353 clip...in a 5-4 win over Utah in Las Vegas, went 2-for-3 with two home runs and a walk.

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Kapolei High School...lettered four years in softball...league all-star in 2002 and 2003...was named to All-State first team 2004 by <i>The Honolulu Advertiser</i>...helped team to win Kapolei's first ever Hawai`i state championship in 2004.

Personal: Born June 6, 1987, in Honolulu...majoring in sociology...favorites include the colors baby blue and red, the movie "Love and Basketball;" Alex Rodriquez, and actor Vin Diesel...chose UH  so she could play in front of her family... has two brothers and four sisters, including Valana who was a four-year letterwinner and starting shortstop for Hawai`i; and Anita, who is currently a player on the Tennessee Lady Vols softball team...parents are Katie and Viavia Manuma of Kapolei.
