2007 (Freshman): Named the 2007 WAC Freshman of the Year and a member of the 2007 all-WAC second team... started 44 of 47 games at catcher...hit .265 overall (26-of-98) with 13 runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, and 19 RBI...got first career hit in Las Vegas, Nev. during the UNLV Desert Classic against Colorado State (Feb. 17)...hit first career home run came during a key series against then No. 25 and WAC rival, Fresno State...drove in three runs on three separate occasions.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, Fla....a four-year letter winner in softball...helped lead the team to three straight district championships (2003-05)...was elected team captain her senior year and earned Tampa Tribune first team all-county honors, was named 2003 and 2005 Tampa Tribune honorable mention... was a 2006 5A all-state honorable mention infielder from the Florida Sports Writers Association...named the Most Valuable Offensive Player award or H.B. Plant HS...was named NFCA high school Scholar-Athlete four times...member of the National Honor Society.
