Biography

2004: Made 36 appearences starting in 32 of them...hit .123 for the year...scored 3 runs (March 18, March 20, and May 8)...stole 3 bases without being caught.

2003: Appeared in 53 games, making 45 starts in center field and two in left field...had six multiple-hit and seven multiple-RBI games...longest hitting streak was five games from March 7-9 earning a spot on the Malihini all-tournament team...came on strong the second half of the season and posted a .283 batting average in WAC play...hit .326 in away games...hit first career grand slam at Centenary (April 30) in the second game of the DH collecting a career-high four RBI...went 4-for-4, tying team-high, in the fourth game at Louisiana Tech, picking up three RBI as UH clinched the WAC title...UH scholar-athlete and Academic All-WAC.

2001: Speedy freshman appeared in 34 games, started two...back-up centerfielder went hitless in nine at-bats...scored nine runs...had .308 on-base average...stole two bases in three attempts.

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Mililani High School on Oahu...lettered four times in softball, three times in basketball, and once in track...a first-team all-state softball selection by both the <i>Honolulu Advertiser</i> and the <i>Honolulu Star-Bulletin</i> as a senior after batting .410 for the state runner-up...a repeat Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division all-star...an honorable mention all-OIA West pick in basketball as a senior...helped guide Mililani to a pair of OIA titles...coached by former Rainbow Wahine softball player Rose Antonio at Mililani...graduated cum laude...transferred to Mililani during her freshman year.

Personal: Born Oct. 27, 1981, in Fort Leneradwood, Mo...favorites include the color yellow, Hawaiian food, the movie "Rudy"...lists Fiji as her favorite musical artist and the Bible as her favorite book...enjoys going to the beach...considers playing in the 2000 state softball title game as her biggest athletic thrill...considers God the most influential person in her life...has two brothers...parents are Patrice Jackson of Mililani, Oahu, and Jamey Jackson of Waianae, Oahu.
