Biography

2007 (Junior): Appeared in 21 games, all in relief...recorded a career best 9-1 record and a 1.84 ERA...walked 11 batters while fanning 44 in 50.1 innings pitched...she's held opponents to a .233 batting average...recorded significant wins over No. 15 Nebraska, Mississippi State, and conference opponent San Jose State...longest outings of the year were against Nevada (Mar. 20) and New Mexico State (Apr. 7), she threw 5.0 innings in each game and recorded a win in each contest.

2006 (Sophomore): Pitched in 15 games, starting 4...had a 3-3 record with a 3.27 ERA and held opposing batters to .287 in 45.0 total innings...also struck out 40 batters and relieved a team-high 11 games...longest outing of the season was against Southern Mississippi (2/10) when she threw a complete, seven inning game, giving up only one unearned run on five hits with two walks and a career-high eight strike outs...at Grambling State (3/24), threw a combined, five inning perfect game in combination with Justine Smethurst...at the WAC Championship tournament in Fresno, Calif., threw 4.0 innings in relief and picked up the win over No. 20 Fresno State in the semi-final round to advance to the championship against Nevada.

2005:  Made eight appearances with two starts...primarily used as a relief pitcher...longest outing was 4.1 innings against BYU on February 12...picked up a win in relief against #9 Washington, in four innings she shut down the Huskies by scattering four hits and giving up no runs while striking out three...missed most of the season due to injury.

2004: Started in the only game in which she appeared...gave up one earned run over 6 innings striking out 3 in a loss to UAB (Feb. 5).

Prep: A 2003 graduate of Grants Pass High in Oregon...was a four-year letterwinner in softball while also earning three letters each in basketball and volleyball...played softball under head coach Clay Rounsaville...garnered all-state and was the conference MVP...two-time first team and two-time second team all-league performer...a member of the leadership and foreign language clubs.

Personal: Born Dec. 9, 1984... has two sisters... in her spare time she likes to hang out with Jen Hackett... her career goals are to be happy... favorite school subject is Samoan... most influential person in her life is Jen Hackett because she always has a smile and makes me happy... her favorite athletes are her sisters Teya and Trista... biggest athletic thrill was playing Tualiton in State High School Playoffs... favorite food is Pasta and Mexican... favorite TV show is anything on Lifetime... favorite musicians are Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks... favorite thing about her sport is that it is a team sport and I have met some really cool girls... favorite book is the Bible... craziest thing she has ever done is going puddle diving with Jen.
