Biography

2011-12 (Junior): Set two new personal bests at the Arena Invitational (Nov. 17) in the 50 freestyle (20.80) and 100 freestyle (45.60)...also swam in the MPSF Championships (Feb. 15) and earned a personal best in the 200 freestyle (1:44.42).

2010-11 (Sophomore): Earned three personal bests at the Conference USA Invitational (Feb. 23-26) in the 50 freestyle (20.85), 100 freestyle (46.13), and 200 freestyle (1:46.43)…swam the third leg for the teams that won the 200 freestyle relay in a dual-meet against Minnesota (Dec. 31) and in a tri-meet against Wyoming and UC San Diego (Jan. 29).

2009-10 (Freshman): Placed eighth in the 50 freestyle (22.07) against Wisconsin (Jan. 9)…swam in the Toshiba Classic (Nov. 19-21) and was part of the team that finished 11th in the 200 free relay (1:25.60)…swam a 22.07 personal best in the 50 free at the Conference USA Championships (Feb. 24-27).

Prep: A 2009 graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…lettered four years in water polo and swimming…member of 2007 and 2008 Hawai‘i Boys State Champion Swim Teams…2009 50m free State Champion…member of Rainbow Aquatics from 2003-09.
Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu…has three siblings…parents are Trudie and Robert Kiessling of Honolulu, O‘ahu.
