Biography

2011-12 (Junior): Set two new personal bests in the 100 breast (55.90) and 200 breast (2:02.49) at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 15)…also earned a season-best in the 200 IM with a time of 1:53.56…swam in all meets. 

2010-11 (Sophomore): Swam in two events at the Conference USA Invitational (Feb. 23-26)…took 8th in the 200 breaststroke (2:06.64)…earned a personal best in the 200 IM after taking 14th in a time of 1:54.72…earned two personal bests at the Arena Invitational (Nov. 18-20) after finishing 11th in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.20) and 17th in the 100 breaststroke (57.70). 

Prep: A 2008 graduate of Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Calif…lettered four years in swimming…was part of the team that took four consecutive CIF-San Diego Section championships from 2005-2008…took first in the 200 IM and 500 free in the 2008 CIF Championships…named a first-team San Diego Scholar Athlete and was a member of the National Honors Society…was team captain of Rancho San Dieguito swim club for four of ten years…was the junior Olympic champion in 200 breast…swam one year for UC Santa Barbara.

Personal: Born in Cardiff, Calif…intends to major in marine biology…has one brother…parents are Craig Miller and Kim Miller of Cardiff, Calif.
