Prep: A 2006 graduate of Poway High School in San Diego, Calif...was a three-time all-Palomar League pick and all-state team twice...in his senior year, averaged 21.0 points, 6.3 assists, and 8.0 rebounds per game playing both guard positions...shot 53 percent from the field, including 41 percent from 3-point range, and 81 percent from the free throw line...rated 169th among Hoop Scoop's top high school seniors...also rated one of the top five point guards in the West by various scouting srevices...as a junior, averaged 24.1 points, 5.0 assists, adn 6.5 rebounds...led Poway to a third-place finish in the Palomar League and quarterfinal appearance at the C.I.F. Division 1 San Diego Section tournament that season...selected to the San Diego Union-Tribune's all-Academic Team...played in three all-star games...named to all-tournament team at the Torrey Pines Classic twice, Bombayer Classic and Kiwanis...McDonald's All-American candidate.
