Biography

2006-07 (Sophomore): Appeared in 17 games off the bench...season-high 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting against California (Nov. 24) in Great Alaska Shootout...posted six points and three rebounds in 10 minutes against Oregon State (Nov. 19)...had two points and one rebound at UNLV (Nov. 10) and against Hofstra (Nov. 23). 
Prior to UH: Attended Irvine Valley College in California for one year...emerged as the team's top player late in the year and finished the season with a 29-point, 12-rebound performance against Mt. San Jacinto in the Southern California Regional first round game...averaged 10.4 points adn 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 55.8 percent from the field...selected as a Top 10 JUCO qualifier by recruiting services...transferred from UC Santa Barbara, where he redshirted during the 2004-05 season.
Prep: A 2004 graduate of Santa Margarita Catholic High School in California...as a senior, averaged 15.0 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.0 blocked shots per game and was an all-Serra League pick...shot 68 percent from the field, including 78 percent from the free throw line, and had a 38-point, 21-rebound performance against St. John Bosco High School...also selected to the Los Angeles Times all-Orange County team and helped lead Santa Margarita to the 2004 Serra League championship and C.I.F. Division III-AA title, the first in the school's history.
