Biography

2009 (Senior): Played in 45 games, starting 41 at catcher and three as the designated hitter…finished the season with a .252 batting average, adding 22 RBI, 21 runs, six homers and seven doubles…had a .993 fielding percentage with just nine passed balls on the season…went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and one RBI vs. UC Irvine (Feb. 22)…scored three times in a 1-for-2 game vs. Mississippi State (Mar. 8)…went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a home run vs. Loyola Marymount (Mar. 14)…homered in back-to-back road games, going 1-for-5 with two RBI and two runs at Portland (Mar. 22), then 2-for-3 with two RBI at Oregon State (Mar. 23)…homered in back-to-back games vs. San Jose State (Apr. 5) and at Santa Clara (Apr. 7)…went 2-for-5 with three runs and a double at Nevada (Apr. 9)…hit another home run at Nevada (Apr. 11)…went 1-for-2 with two RBI at New Mexico State (Apr. 26)…had a 1-for-3 game with two RBI vs. Louisiana Tech (May 2).

2007 (Sophomore): Played in 57 games, started 55...belted four home runs, tied for second on team...finished season with .296 batting average...tallied nine multiple-RBI games and 17 multiple-hit games...hitting streak during season was nine games, third longest on team (4/22 to 5/12)...against Wisconsin-Milwaukee went 3-for-3 (3/17), scored three runs and had one RBI...at New Mexico State (4/28) he went 3-for-4 with one home run, one RBI and one run...in WAC tournament hit two home runs, one against Sacramento State (5/25) where he went 2-for-4 with five RBI and one against Nevada (5/26) where he went 2-for-5 with two RBI...second in WAC with five picked off runners...National Team Trials invite

2006 (Freshman): Played in 18 games, starting 11 at catcher...went 2-for-5 with one run and a double vs. HPU (2/14)...went 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI vs. LMU(2/19)...had a 3-for-4 game with one run and one RBI vs. Western Illinois (3/12)...was 2-for-4 with one run vs. UH-Hilo (3/22).

Prep: A 2005 graduate of Desert Chapel High School in Palm Springs, Calif...lettered four years in both basketball and baseball...was named MVP and first team All-League...also earned All-League honors in basketball as well.
