Biography

2023:

  • Started all 13 games on the defensive line.
  • One of just three defensive players to start in all 13 games.
  • Led all defensive lineman with 36 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss.
  • Tied for second on the team in sacks with 3.0.
  • Recorded seven tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack in the season opener against Vanderbilt.
  • Also had six tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in a road win at Nevada.
  • Tallied five or more tackles in four games.
  • Nominated for the Burlsworth Trophy, given to the nation’s most outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on.


2022:

  • Appeared in all 13 games on the defensive line.
  • Started seven of the final eight games. 
  • Registered 32 tackles on the season, second among defensive lineman. 
  • Finished tied for fourth on the team with five tackles-for-loss and tied for second in sacks with 2.0.
  • Registered a career-high five tackles and 1.5 sacks against Utah State.
