2024 (Senior):

  • Earned a spot on the AFCA Good Works Team and was a semifinalist for the Wuerffel Trophy.
  • Named to the preseason watch lists for the Maxwell Award, the Manning Award and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
  • Appeared in and started 11 games at quarterback.
  • Named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice (Week 0 vs. Delaware State; Week 9 vs. Nevada).
  • Finished with 2,591 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns on 233-of-403 passing.
  • Ran for 259 yards, the second-most rushing yards on the team.
  • Led the team with six rushing touchdowns.

2022 (Sophomore):

  • Appeared in 12 games, starting 10 at quarterback.
  • Started the season-opener versus Vanderbilt and the final nine contests of the season. 
  • Amassed 2,348 passing yards and 13 touchdowns.
  • Finished second in the Mountain West in passing yards per game (195.7), pass attempts (400), and total offensive plays (445).
  • Completed 55 percent of his passes (221-of-400).
  • Threw at least one touchdown pass in each of his nine starts to end the season. 
  • Registered a career-high 306 yards on 46 attempts and two touchdowns against Utah State.
  • Had a career-high three touchdown passes in UH home finale against UNLV.
  • Tossed a career-long 66-yard touchdown pass to Zion Bowens at San Diego State. 
  • Gained a career-high 49 rushing yards at Fresno State. 
  • Earned academic all-Mountain West honors. 

2021 (Freshman):

  • Played in six games and started three at quarterback.
  • One of just 13 true freshman quarterbacks nationally to start a regular-season game in 2021.
  • Went 2-1 as a starter, including a home win over nationally-ranked Fresno State in his starting debut.
  • Became the fifth straight UH quarterback to win in his starting debut and the second straight freshman to do so
  • Threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes to lead the comeback over the Bulldogs.
  • Earned Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors for his performance. 
  • Also completed 16 straight passes while going 25-of-29 for 219 yards in a win over New Mexico State.
  • Finished the season with 615 passing yards and two touchdowns while completing 60.1 percent of his passes.

Prep:

  • A 2021 graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas.
  • In his first season as a starter, led Highland Park to an undefeated regular season and district title as a senior.
  • Named the District 7-5A Most Valuable Player.
  • Completed 62 percent of his attempts for 3,102 yards and 24 TDs.
  • Also rushed for 246 yards and nine scores.
  • Led Highland Park to the regional finals.
