2017 (Redshirt Junior):
Outdoor

• Competed in eight Outdoor meets during the season
• Recorded a career-best 42-9.75 (13.05m) to finish eighth at the Rainbow Relays
• Tossed a career-long 137-9 (41.98m) in the discus for 17th at the Mt. SAC Relays
• Earned a hammer throw personal best at the Pacific Beach Intercollegiate with a 139-6 (42.51m) (32nd)
• Also placed fourth in the shot put at the Stanford Invitational with a distance of 40-6.75 (12.36m)
• Finished 15th in both the shot put (40-8.75/12.41m) and discus (131-11/40.20m) at the Big West Outdoor Championships
• Named to the Big West All-Academic Team for the second time

Indoor

• Competed in five Indoor meets during the year
• Produced a weight throw career best at the UW Open, finishing 12th with a distance of 48-11.5 (14.92m)
• Also at the UW Open, finished 11th in the shot put with a season-best toss of 42-0 (12.80m) - ranking 10th on the UH Indoor all-time performances list

2016 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Outdoor

• Recorded season long in the shot put and discus events at the Beach Pacific Coast
  • Shot put - 41-2.25 (12.55m), placed 15th
  • Discus - 125-3 (38.19m), placed 29th
• Recorded a season best in the hammer throw at the Steve Scott Invitational with a mark of 133-1 (40.56m)
• Best overall finishes were at the 2016 Rainbow Relays
  • Shot put - 39-6.5 (12.05m) for fourth place
  • Hammer throw - 131-6 (40.09m) for fifth place
  • Discus throw - 121-2 (36.94m) for sixth place
• Earned Big West All-Academic honors

Indoor

• Competed in the weight throw and shot put events
• Finished 20th in the shot put at the MPSF Indoor Championships with a mark of 40-7.5 (12.38m), and 28th in the weight throw with a mark of 40-4.25 (12.30m)
• Recorded a personal best in the weight throw at the UW Open with a mark of 43-1.5 (13.14m) where she placed 24th
• Best finish in the shot put was at the UW Open with a mark of 39-6.5 (12.05m) for 12th place

Prior to UH:

• Attended Honolulu Community College in Honolulu one year and did not participate in athletics
• Attended UH as a year in residence during her redshirt freshman year
• Named to Dean’s List at Honolulu CC in 2014

• A 2013 graduate of Hawaii Technology Academy in Waipahu on O‘ahu
• Lettered three years in track and field for Farrington High School
• Competed in the discus and shot put events
• Placed sixth in shot put at the HHSAA Hawai‘i State Track and Field Championships
• Also finished seventh in the discus at the HHSAA Championships

• Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu
• Has three brothers and three sisters
• One sister, Ashley, started her career as a UH thrower in 2017
• Major is Elementary and Special Education
• Parents are Aaron and Michele Kamau of Kapolei, O‘ahu
