Biography

2019 (Senior)
Outdoor:
  • Competed in eight outdoor meets on the season.
  • Earned a first-place finish in shot put with a throw of 12.70m (41’ 8”) at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (Mar. 28-30).
  • Participated in three throwing events (SP, HT and JT), recording a sixth-place finish and a pair of 10th-place finishes. Finished sixth in shot put (12.64m, 41’ 5.75”) and 10th in both hammer throw (45.01m, 147’ 8”) and setting a personal best mark in javelin (41.88m 137’ 5”).
  • At the Rainbow Relays (Mar. 22-23), set PR throws in SP (12.89m, 42’ 3.5”) and HT (47.34m, 155’ 4”).
  • Secured a seventh-place finish in shot put (12.85m, 42’ 2”) at the Big West Outdoor Championships (May 10-11). 
  • Named academic all-Big West.
Indoor:
  • Competed in three indoor meets on the season.
  • Earned a PR throw of 12.47m (40’ 11”) in shot put at the UW Invitational.
  • At the Boise State Challenge, finished sixth-overall in shot put with a mark of 12.00m (39’ 4.5”)
  • Finished 20th in shot put (12.34, 40’ 6”) at the MPSF Indoor Championships.

2018 (Junior):

Outdoor
  • In first outdoor meet - Hornet Invitational - put up season bests for the shot put (12.63m - 41’5.25”) and the javelin (40.38m - 133’6”).
  • Placed fifth in the shot put, reaching 12.39m (40’7.75”) at the Rainbow Relays.
  • Secured fifth in the javelin with a distance of 39.00m (127’11”) for fifth and set a season best in the hammer with a mark of 42.43m (139’2”) at the Steve Scott Invitational.
  • At the Big West Championships, placed eighth in the javelin (39.63m - 130’0”) and 12th in the shot put (12.00m - 39’4.5”).
Indoor
  • Threw in three indoor meets in first season at UH.
  • Made UH debut at the UW Invitational.
  • Best weight throw performance of 11.81m (38’9”) came at the UW Open.

Prior to UH:
  • Attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore., aiding the Titans to consecutive NWAC Southern Region Championships (2016-17)
  • Competed in track and field for two seasons, also playing basketball for one season
  • Finished second in the hammer throw at the NWAC Championships with a career-long 135-11 (41.67m)
  • Earned second place in the shot put at the NWAC Championships with a career-best toss of 40-10.5 (12.46m)
  • Registered a 133-10 (40.79m) javelin mark to finish third at the NWAC Championships
  • 2017 NWAC Southern Region Champion in the javelin, reaching 128-10.75 (39.28m)
  • Earned third place at the 2016 NWAC Southern Region Championships in the discus, fourth in the javelin and was sixth in the hammer throw
  • Earned a personal-best javelin distance of 135-10.25 (41.41m) at the 2017 Chico State Outdoor Twilight and Distance Festival
  • Registered a personal-best discus throw of 110-2 (33.57m) at the 2017 Lane Preview

  • A 2015 graduate of Roseburg High School in Roseburg, Ore.
