Biography

2017 (Freshman):
Offseason Competition
  • The first UH competitor at the USA Track and Field (USATF) Junior Championships since 2012, threw the hammer 161-4 (49.18m) at the national meet in Sacramento, Calif.
Outdoor
  • Competed in seven NCAA meets during her first Outdoor season
  • Finished eighth at the Big West Outdoor Championships with a personal-best throw of 170-8 (52.01m), the best throw by a UH hammer throw performer on the year
  • Finished the season ranked sixth in the hammer throw on the UH Outdoor all-time performances list
  • Delivered each UH's top 10 performances in the hammer throw on the season
  • Also reached 169-7 (51.70m) at the Beach Invitational (48th) and 167-2 (50.95m) at the Rainbow Relays (2nd)
  • Competed in two all-comer Sunrise Series meets, recording an Outdoor best in the weight throw of 49-5 (15.06m)
Indoor
  • Competed in five meets during her inaugural Indoor season with the Rainbow Wahine
  • Finished 29th in the weight throw at the MPSF Indoor Championships with a mark of 43-11.25 (13.39m)
  • Reached her weight throw personal best with a 35th-place mark of 46-5.5 (14.16m) at the Husky Classic
  • Finished 11th in the weight throw at her first collegiate meet at the UW Indoor Preview, tossing 44-11.75 (13.71m)
  • Recorded five of the top nine weight throw performances of the season for UH

Prep:
  • A 2016 graduate of Camas High School in Camas, Wash.
  • Took first at the Washington State HS Hammer Championship two years in a row (2015-16), where she set a PR mark of 162-1 last season
  • Placed fourth at the 2014 USATF National JO Outdoor Championship in the hammer event with a mark of 122-4
  • Placed third in the hammer throw event at both the 2014 USATF Region 3 and Region 13 Championships
