2016-17 (Junior):  Appeared briefly in six games…tallied five points and two rebounds in 13 minutes played…saw first collegiate action against UH Hilo (Nov. 22)…tallied two points and one rebound in three minutes of play…converted his first and only field goal of the year –a  three-pointer—in UH’s win over UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 28)…finished the year 1-of-4 from the field, 1-of-2 on three-pointers, and 2-of-4 from the free throw line.

Prior To UH: Played two seasons at Cañada College in Redwood City, Calif…named all-league and garnered all-state honorable mention after averaging a team-high 14.9 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 3.0 apg in 2015-16…shot 42.5 percent from the field, 35.0 percent from three-point range and 73.1 percent from the line...scored 20 or more points on four occasions, including a career-best 28 points and five 3-pointers in a win over Oxnard…as a freshman, averaged 6.1 ppg as part of a squad that captured the Northern California championship and advanced to the state final four…scored in double-digits six times, including a 26-point explosion versus Foothill College.

Prep: A 2014 graduate of St. Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif…played two seasons of varsity basketball…averaged 10.0 ppg and 3.0 apg as a senior and earned all-WCAL honors.

Personal: Born in Palo Alto, Calif…majoring in communications…has two older sisters…parents are Bill and Maureen Garrett of San Carlos, Calif.
