2016-17 (Freshman): True freshman started 18 of 27 games played…averaged 7.0 ppg and 3.5 rpg in 24.6 minutes per game…team’s third-leading scorer in Big West play, averaging 10.5 ppg...ranked second in the Big West in three-point field-goal percentage in league games (.447, 21-of-47)… had at least one three-pointer in all but two of the league games he appeared in …enjoyed his first double-digit scoring game with 11 points — all in the first half — vs. Delaware St. (Dec. 29)….scored a season-best 25 points in a come-from-behind overtime win over Long Beach State (Jan. 14)…also added six rebounds and three assists vs. the 49ers…in the very next game, drained the game-winning three-pointer from the corner with 0.9 seconds left to lift UH to an  80-77 victory over CSUN (Jan 18)…12 points, while adding six rebounds at Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 5)….had 15 points, four rebounds, and two steals vs. UC Riverside (Jan. 25)…14 points and seven rebounds, while draining all three of his three-point attempts at Long Beach State (Mar. 4)…led the team in rebounding in three games, including a season-high 11 rebounds vs. Southern Miss (Dec. 25)…started 18 of the first 21 games of the season…missed three games in the middle of the Big West season due to illness…after that, came off the bench in the final six games of the year…produced 7.8 ppg and 4.2 rpg while shooting 53 percent from three-point range in that final span.
