- Played a season-high 33 minutes in UH’s overtime win at UC Riverside (Feb. 17), contributing six points, five assists and five rebounds.
- Scored a career-high 17 points while making 6-of-7 shots from the field in a UH win over Long Beach State.

2016-17 (Freshman): Played in 28 games off the bench…averaged 2.6 ppg and 2.0 rpg in 12.3 minutes per game...saw role increase in Big West play, averaging 3.8 ppg and 2.4 rpg in 15.0 minutes per game…shot 47 percent from the field in league games...scored in 16 of the final 20 contests…had five points and four rebounds in 21 minutes in conference-opener at Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 5)…scored a season-high 11 points while converting all five of his field goal attempts in OT win over Long Beach State (Jan. 14)…had at least one rebound in 24 games, including a season-high five boards in a win versus CSUN (Jan. 18)….also had six points and four rebounds in a win at CSUN (Feb. 4).

Prior To UH: A 2016 graduate of Riga Secondary School No. 49 in Riga, Latvia…member of the VEF Riga club team, considered the top program in Latvia…averaged 10.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, and 5.4 apg in 2015-16 while competing in the Latvian Basketball League second division…averaged 13.5 ppg, 8.3 rpg , 2.6 apg, and 2.8 spg in the 2015-16 Latvian Youth League…guided team to the Euroleague Adidas Next Generation Tournament finals, where he was the team leader in rebounds, second in assists and third in scoring…also helped his club win the 2016 Latvian U19 Championship…recorded 17 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists in the first game of the tournament…posted another double-double with 10 points and 12 boards in the finals… a fixture with Latvia’s national program…has competed for the U16, U18 and U20 teams…competed at the 2016 FIBA U20 European Championship in Helsinki, Finland… appeared in all seven games off the bench with a tournament-best 11-point performance versus Ukraine …during the 2015 FIBA U18 European Championship in Volos, Greece, led his team in rebounds and steals and had the third-highest offensive rebound average (3.7) and fifth-most steals (2.3) among all players in the tournament….finished the tourney with three double-doubles and averaged 9.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
Personal: Born in Madona, Latvia…a finance major...has one older sister…great uncle, Visvaldis Eglitis, was a former Latvian basketball great and won a European Championship as a member of the Soviet team...parents are Edmunds and Iveta Raimo of Madona, Latvia.
