Biography

2014-15 (Senior): Appeared in 30 games…started the first 13 games before an injury held her out of UH's first two conference games, but came back to play in the final 17-straight games—including two starts at UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 5) and senior night at the Stan Sheriff Center against Cal State Fullerton (Mar. 7)…led Hawai‘i with 6.3 rebounds and 12.3 points per game and also led UH with 88 assists (career-high), 41 blocked shots, and 42 steals (career-high)…also tallied career-highs of 368 points, 645 rebounds (55 offensive, 135 defensive), 141 field goals made…scored in double-figures 17 times with a team-high four double-doubles…led UH notching game-highs in points in 11 games; rebounds 11 times; assists 13 times; steals 10 times (tied with Destiny King), and blocked shots 20 times this season…became just the 10th player in UH history to record over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds when she scored 15 points against BYU-Hawai‘i on Dec. 13 and she grabbed her 500th rebound against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 28…led UH with four double-doubles (12pts/11reb at Colorado State; 29pts/15reb No. 14 California; 19 pts/10reb Pacific; and 12pts/13reb UC Davis)…against No. 14 California, led UH with her best statistical game of her career, pouring in 29 points with 15 rebounds—both career highswith two assists, two blocked shots and a steal in a 79-72 loss (Nov. 21)…was equally amazing against No. 11 North Carolina (Nov. 30) scoring 28 points with five rebounds making 14 out of 16 free throws—both career highs—against the Tar Heels…against conference rival Cal Poly at home (Feb. 7) tallied 22 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor in a 79-64 UH win…finished her career which spanned a record six years ranked in the top 10 in 13 different categories: No. 8 – 1,234 points; No. 13 – 10.0 points per game; No. 8 – 482 field goals made; No. 5 – 1,164 field goals attempted; No. 7 – 392 free throws attempted; No. 8 – 645 total rebounds; No. 10 – 186 offensive rebounds; No. 6 – 459 defensive rebounds; No. 6 – 125 blocked shots; No. 9 – 161 steals; No. 7 – 3,037 minutes played; No. 1 – 125 games played…was the only UH player to be voted to the Bank of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine Classic and the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Shootout all-tournament teams...earned first-team all-Big West honors…voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and is a two-time recipient of the program’s Ah Chew Goo Achievement Award, given to the player who attained basketball excellence through dedication, determination, and perseverance…voted UH's "Rainbow Wahine of the Year" and named Hawai‘i’s 2015 Bonham Award female co-winner which is given to the top senior student-athlete who “best exemplifies the ideals for which Jack Bonham stood for in the areas of athletic excellence, academic achievement, public service, leadership and character.”


2013-14 (Junior): Appeared in all 31 games (career-high) with 29 starts (career-high) averaging 23.7 minutes, 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game...led Hawai‘i with 32 steals and 23 blocked shots...is now currently No. 9 on the UH career-record book with 84 blocked shots...poured in a career-high 28 points against Long Beach State (Feb. 27) on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor...hit the 20-point mark for the first time in her career at UC Riverside (Jan. 18) when she scored 22 points...scored a career-high 314 total points and also recorded a career-high 73 made free throws in 97 attempts for a career-best .753 free throw percentage...drained a thrilling 3-pointer at the end of regulation to tie Minnesota at 66-66 to force overtime en route to a 77-71 win to capture UH's first tournament since 2004 and the first win over a Big Ten opponent since 1998...played a career-high 38 minutes against Long Beach State (Feb. 27)...scored in double-figures 14 times and led UH in scoring in six games this season...earned Big West Second Team honors after averaging 11.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in conference games...was voted the team's Ah Chew Goo Achievement Award winner for 2013-14 as the Most Valuable Team Player who attained "basketball excellence through dedication, determination and perseverance."

2012-13 (Sophomore): Appeared in 25 games and averaged 19.9 minutes, 8.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game…recorded her first two career double-doubles at Long Beach State (Feb. 7) and vs. Cal State Northridge (Mar. 2) …lead the team with 21 blocked shots and was third on the team with 118 total rebounds…scored a season-high and tied her career-high with 18 points twice at Pacific (Jan.17) and at Long Beach State (Feb. 7)…dished out a season high six assists and grabbed 10 rebounds against Cal State Northridge…had a season-high three steals twice--at UC Riverside (Jan. 5) and at Pacific (Jan 17)…played a season-high 30 minutes against Pacific (Feb. 16)… was a key reserve off the bench and thus was earned the 2012-13 Big West Conference's Sixth Woman of the Year Award and earned Big West honorable mention honors...was selected the team's "Most Improved Player."

2011-12 (Sophomore-Medical Hardship): An early season injury kept her out of the first two games to start the season…appeared in a total of seven games with four starts…averaged 26.9 minutes per game… averaged 5.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game… scored a season-high 13 points against Columbia (Dec. 3)…grabbed a career high 13 rebounds against Virginia (Nov. 26) at home…missed last 21 games of the season due to personal reasons.

2010-11 (Freshman): Started in 26 of 27 games played as a redshirt freshman but missed the final four regular season WAC games due to injury…averaged 27.8 minutes, 9.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and a team-high 1.7 steals per game…finished the her rookie campaign second on the team with 45 steals, 26 blocks and 64 assists and third on the team with 138 rebounds and 9.4 points per game…posted double-digits in points in 13 games—including in five-of-her last seven games played…scored a career-high 18 points at Boise State (Jan. 15) going 7-for-16 from the floor and 3-of-5 from beyond the 3-point arch…dished out a career-high nine assists in a double-overtime win over Mississippi (Nov. 27)…made a career-high eight field goals against North Carolina (Nov. 28)…grabbed career-best 12 rebounds against Oregon State (Nov. 21)…blocked three shots three time at Fresno State (Jan. 24), Utah State (Jan. 27), and against Idaho (Feb. 5)… logged a career-high 37 minutes twice, against East Carolina (Dec. 21) and Louisiana Tech (Jan. 8)…voted to the all-WAC freshman squad with teammate Kamilah Jackson.

2009-10 (Medical Redshirt): Received a medical hardship after appearing in just five games with four starts before suffering a season ending injury…in just 144 minutes of play scored 63 points with 33 rebounds, eight blocks, five steals, and eight assists.

Prep: A 2008 graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…was a three-year letterwinner in basketball…led her team to three state titles 2005, ’06, ’08…was a two-time Hawai‘i State Player of the Year...was named first team All-State her freshman year…scored a Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association state tournament record 37 points in the 2006 state championship game…scored 20 points and added 13 rebounds her senior year in the state championship game…was one of the most highly recruited talents out of the islands in years…is considered one of the greatest Hawai‘i high school basketball players of
all-time.
 
Personal: Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu…majoring in economics...has four siblings, including twin sister Shaena-Lyn who played basketball at Idaho…parents are Kaeo and Brandy Kaleoaloha of Honolulu, O‘ahu.
