2013 Sand (Senior): Tallied a 9-13 overall record…went 5-4 in tournament play and 4-8 in dual matches…played all but four matches with partner Tai Manu-Olevao, recording a 4-8 mark…played seven of twelve matches at the No. 1 flight, going 2-5…played five of twelve matches at the No. 2 flight, going 2-3…went 5-2 in three-set matches…advanced to the semifinals of both the Hawai’i Tournament (March 16) and the Antelope Desert Classic (March 24) with partner Tai Manu-Olevao…dropped third-place match at the Hawai’i Tournament to UH’s Katie Spieler and Ginger Long...advanced to the quarterfinals of the USAV Collegiate Challenge (April 21) gold division with Manu-Olevao, before losing to UCLA’s Meg Norton and Kelly Reeves.

Prior To UH: A four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Hawai‘i Pacific University….appeared in nearly 100 matches during her career…named to All-PacWest second team in both her junior and senior season…second on the team in kills both those seasons, including 244 as a senior…led the team in service aces in each of her final two seasons…part of a HPU sand volleyball club team that competed against UH in both dual match and pairs tournament during 2012 spring season.
 
Prep: A 2008 graduate of The Kings Academy in Sunnyvale, Calif...earned four varsity letters in volleyball…a three-time all-league selection…selected as league MVP as a senior…also named team MVP three straight seasons.
 
Personal: Born in Phoenix, Ariz... nickname is “Heavy T”…earned a nursing degree from Hawai‘i Pacific University…will pursue a certificate in conflict resolution at UH…has two sisters…parents are Roger Lee Bell and Cora Bell of Sunnyvale, Calif.
