2013 Sand (Freshman):  Tallied a 2-1 overall record…went 1-1 in tournament play and 1-0 in dual matches… … advanced to semifinals of the USAV Collegiate Challenge (April 21) bronze division with Ku‘ulei Zalapony, after a quarterfinal win over Phelix Fincher and Maddy Klineman of UCLA.

Prep: A 2012 graduate of Aptos High School in California…earned two varsity letters in volleyball…helped team capture the league championship as a senior…also a four-year letterwinner in track…a two-time league champion in the high jump...also played for Shoreline Club Volleyball.
 
Personal: Born in Watsonville, Calif…given name is Nicole…a marine biology major…has one older brother…parents are David and Lynn Miyashita of Watsonville, Calif.
