Biography

2013 Sand (Sophomore): Tallied a 3-3 overall record…went 1-1 in tournament play and 2-2 in dual matches…played all but one match with partner Ashley Kastl, recording a 3-2 record…advanced to the quarterfinals of the USAV Collegiate Challenge (April 21) with Kastl before being defeated in three sets by UCLA’s Karsta Low and Bojana Todorovic.

Prior To UH: Attended Irvine Valley College for two years…competed in both indoor and sand volleyball…a first-team all-league selection in indoor…helped sand squad to a runner-up finish in the inaugural Intercollegiate Sand Volleyball Conference State Championship…teammate of current Rainbow Wahine Sarah Mendoza at Irvine…an honor roll student.
 
Prep: A 2010 graduate of Tesoro High School in Las Flores, Calif…a four-year letterwinner in volleyball…a second-team all-league pick as a senior…also earned the Coaches Award and Titan Award that season…a member of the National Charity League…played club volleyball for Saddleback Valley.
 
Personal: Born in Pasadena, Calif…has two older brothers…brother Brent played baseball at USC…parents are Larry Mount of Ladera Ranch, Calif., and Julie Mount of Coto de Caza, Calif.
