Hart High School in Newhall, Calif…lettered three times in volleyball and twice in basketball…three-time all-Foothill League and all-Santa Clara Valley first-team selection in volleyball…also named the team’s MVP and captain for three years…named to Volleyball Magazine’s Fab 50…holds school records for most kills in a match (30) and hitting percentage (.767), kills in a season (362), aces in a season (67), and career hitting percentage (.428)…earned three academic-athlete awards for accumulating a GPA of 4.0 or higher…basketball team reached the CIF semifinals during his sophomore year…played club ball with Legacy Volleyball Club for three years…named to the all-tournament team at Junior Olympics in 2011…club’s best finish was a tie for fifth in the Open Division...served as the club’s team captain.
