2012 (Freshman): Appeared in five matches and played seven sets at outside hitter…averaged 1.29 kills per set…season-high five kills off the bench against UC Irvine (Feb. 12)…also had one dig and one block against the Anteaters…had two kills against UCLA (Feb. 17).

Prep: A 2011 graduate of Webster Groves High School in St. Louis, Mo…earned four letters in volleyball…led team to the state championship semifinals in 2011 and conference championships in 2010…named first-team all-conference and honorable mention all-state as a senior…also named MVP of the district tournament…as a junior, named all-conference and MVP of the conference tournament…played club ball with Saint Louis High Performance for seven years.
 
Personal: Born in St. Louis, Mo…intends to major in communication…has one brother…parents are David and Julie Hinkle of St. Louis, Mo.
